Cheap-ish 6ers : Ibanez vs. LTD

I might wanna try out 6 string bass. I've been a bass player for over 20 years, mainly 4 and sometimes 5 string, but I'd like to try a cheap 6er that won't feel too cheap compared to my other basses (which include a USA G&L and a Spector). 2 basses caught my attention : Ibanez SR506 and ESP LTD B-206SM. Which would be a better bet?

SR 506 has had my attention for months and I plan to get one as soon as I have the money. Maybe I'm biased, but I'd say that. If you haven't played it before, you need to. It's a really slim, fast neck. I like it because of my small hands. People with huge hands may not.

I've never tried the other bass (think I looked at it). I've never heard anyone talk about it on the forums, but I hear people talk about Soundgears all the time.

I have a SR 506 and Yamaha TRB6. I'm going to sell the SR 506 and get an ESP LTD B206. I pick it up this Sunday. I think it has a more warm sound. But, I'm looking for that warm punchy sound. Have you tried them both? What kind of music and sound are you after?

I played on my SR506 for years now. Killer bass and a really great introduction to six string basses. I put in an Aguilar OBP-3 in mine and it is a great bass now.
