My .02¢, an Ampeg Micro VR half stack would be perfect for your situation. Though not a combo, it's very easy to carry, looks really cool and sounds great!

Hi!
I'm looking for something portable and affordable, to where the SVT is too big to carry...
I've tried quite a few amps and liked the Hartke A100 and the Gallien Krueger MB112 quite a bit, but I wonder if I should look into other models before making a move. Your suggestions, within the same price range NEW (I ain't got no patience for shopping around used gear, nor a good experience in that field), would be appreciated. My criteria : loud enough for a semi-quiet 3 piece band (amplified acoustic guitar and mellow drum), rather small package (no 24 inch wide combos please!), I'm not too picky on the weight (I'm in my mid-thirties and still strong enough).
well, perhaps the Carvin MB210 might work -here's a link [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
Whoever it was, he is a genius.
All good suggestions here! I play a Hartke A100 with satisfaction. Mostly in small rooms but have use the direct out to PA for outdoor gigs. If I were to replace it with another 1x15 combo, I'd probably go GK to save 15 lbs.
The TC BG250 looks tempting, but it's got too much "stuff" I don't need. I need simple -- A hammer has too many moving parts for me.
