Cheap Pedals (Fuzz, Dirt, Chorus, Delay, etc...)

I was wondering if anybody here have a list or references for cheap/budget pedals around 20 to 35 €.

I have seen the thread "$20 Mosky Black Rat" (i´ve ordered the pedal) but i´m on the hunt for a delay and chorus with a high quality/price relation. I don´t exepect a 35€ pedal to have the same performance of a 150€ pedal but there are pretty good deals out there.

I´ve got this far the American Sound and a KOKKO FCP-2 compressor.

I´m on the hunt of that price pedals because i pretty much in house.

Behringer pedals are 20 bucks. Some, like my overdrive, ain't bad either.

It's equally possible that there's a single OEM manufacturing the pedals for Joyo, Ammoon, Lowin, Kokko, etc. to rebrand and sell to distributors.

How is that possible? My Gov'nor has 2 bands of low end, ultra low and mid low as well as mids and high. That's part the reason it's good on bass. also built and looks like a tank. (I have a dan-o-wah shaped like a car in my collection, repaired plastic contact point, fragile... I had the Shift Daddy car where the pedal sweeps the time and gave that to a guitarist cousin)

Cheap pedals I'm using are Joyo Orange Juice, Hotone space reverb, Hotone Wally Looper org & II, and The Fog is an ok Woolly Mammoth clone. woolly mammoth clone - Google Search

If you search for the Mosky stuff on Amazon, you will find a whole mess of cheap effects

Im a huge fan of the DOD 250 overdrive, regardless of the price. Its a criminally underrated and underappreciated pedal that responds very well to dynamics and playing style and is still one of the most transparent pedals on the market that doesn't use a clean blend.

This is probably one of the most cloned/modified circuits in effect history (To be fair, it also happens to be a modded version of the Distortion Plus). The circuit has been used in many pedals that get far more praise than the 250 ever seems to get.

The exact circuit is used as the main distortion stage of the original Klon, the Klon just adds a buffer for a cleaner signal and a tone stack for mid shaping. (Fairly easy mods to drop into the 250 if you DIY)

The Fulltone OCD "TB's Favorite" is literally just 2 DOD250's stacked into each-other with the clipping diodes removed from the second stage and a tone stack to adjust the mids.

The RAT and all of its counterparts are heavily based on the DOD250, just with some tweaks to allow for more gain and tone shaping.

You can often find the 250 online for around $40.

(If you DIY, For some added flexibility, these pedals really benefit from adding a BMP tone stack to the output of the pedal. Its a simple DIY mod that takes a couple minutes to finish, but really makes the pedal come to life on the bass... If you really want to get fancy, you can even add a clean blend)

I own or have owned:
Joyo Orange Juice, American Sound, California Sound, Ultimate Drive, Dyna Comp
Little Bear Ra:tack, MB2, and their Wooly Mammoth clone
My guitar playing 16-year old likes his Behringer tube screamer clone and stereo chorus. He had an Ammoon looper which broke in less than a week.

I second the used market - I’ve also found an inexpensive BassBalls, a Hot Tubes, a VT Bass, a SCR-DI, a SpectraComp, and a few others this way. It takes patience, but I’ve made money flipping used pedals every time, or happily kept them.

I am keeping the OJ, and the rest of the Joyos are all gone or going. I wasn’t a fan of the Dyna Comp, but the rest were good, just not what I was looking for. The Little Bears sound good but are even more cheaply made. I wouldn’t plan on any of them lasting a year gigging - not saying they wouldn’t, just saying I wouldn’t rely on them that way - but for home use I’m sure they’d be fine if you don’t mind replacing one every so often. They’re inexpensive enough for many of us to disregard cost as a barrier.

I've had a bunch of cheapies that have sounded great!

Joyo: Ultimate Drive, Classic Flanger (sounds like an MXR117!)
Mooer: Sweeper (bassballs), Thunderball (blogger), Fog (mammoth)
Little Bear: BS1 (mammoth)
Monoprice... Yes, monoprice, the cables and electronics-accessories people: Flanger (clone of the mooer clone of the electric mistress)

And, don't forget you can get a Zoom MS60B for sometimes 60-70 bucks and that contains models of muchos effectos.

Yes, the same factory that makes the Harley Benton pedals, and plenty more, they all share the same enclosures and layouts, just the finishes change.

I wouldn't be surprised if the same factory also churns out pedals for other "not as cheap" brands, but with more attention to details and finishes etc.

Just got the Mosky ocd clone

Toms line/aroma Pure Echo

a rowin tuner and a kokko compressor

If anyone can recommend a cheap mini fuzz ( synthy / sputtery ) please let me know :)
