My gigging rig is an Acoustic 200h with a 2x12 and a 1x15 cab. Plenty of volume for club/bar gigs. It has a line out for running a cord to the PA.

I own the vm p bass and I can vouch for the quality I have had it since the vm series came out and its great. It has became my main gigging bass actually. i got it because it had that sid vicious/ paul simmion/ dee dee ramone look from the early punk days. then it got modded with a mightymite j neck i got off ebay already modded with a fender j bass logo. i would have left it blank but it was already there. And a nordstrand np4 pickup and it just growls for punk rock. I run it through an swr 6x10 and hartke ha2500 head it sounds great... you cant go wrong with hartke check out some of their gear too.
