Check out my new Dingwall Bass! (pics)

What's the next project?

Another one-off Dingwall ;););) with some special features. Sheldon has realized, very early on, that in order to get rid of my crazy ideas is to get over and done with them (materialize them) ;););)

In reality, Sheldon has been listening to ideas and he puts thoughts over those. If it's something that breaks into "new" ground, he makes every effort possible to foresee any pros and cons. After 10yrs of being such a demanding customer, I am happy to give thumps-up to Sheldon

Did you win the lottery in order to pay for all of those basses? haha.

I've been craving a Dingwall five-string for quite a while, but no matter how much I drool at the thought of owning one of these fanned-fret beauties, the distracting appearance of the end of the neck is a real turn-off for me; I'd much rather see it finished to match the body. To me, this seemingly minor foible is akin to an otherwise gorgeous woman with bad teeth - it's a deal breaker.

Other than that, nice axe!

Wowzers. I love that green finish!
*Sigh* I am anxiously awaiting the Combustions... Be a while before I can afford even a used Afterburner; I've noticed they're now starting at $1700 to $2000 US used on the 'bay and at the stores that have offered a few used Afterburners.
Very, very nice bass. Congratulations.

Thanks for the congrats.

Yeah, the Combustion looks like it is going to be really cool. Should be pretty affordable. I hope they come out with a six string version.
