You're correct...that pink ivory body is mine. I was a little uncertain about that one, but thought I'd roll the dice and see what happened. So far, I'm extremely happy with how that body has turned out!![]()

....man, I so would have done an unlined fretless pink ivorywood board on that!!!

Actually, I almost did!But....a guy can only have so much "pink" going on, and I liked the contrast of the pink ivory with the black a little more. However, once the finish was applied the pinkness of the top really toned down and warned up a lot. It's almost more of a warm, faded red than a true "pink" at this point. Just wait 'til its done....that ivory board with gray streaks/highlights matched with the black in the knobs, pickups and hardware should work great with that killer top!!!

That thing has enough strings to be a friggin' Warr guitar. My 6 string has the same amount of strings as a guitar but they're tuned down a good deal. That 9 string walks all over the guitar's sonic space, a typical 6 string with a high C does not. I'm not big on lots of instruments playing in the same octave. Damn, strap an egg shaker on the headstock and you've got a one man band!Ive never seen a guitar with that many strings but I have seen plenty with 6. Are you sure you arent the one who wants to be a guitarist? It look to me like he wants to do something greater than that.

Here's Arthur U. Poon's SKB 3006, and an SKB body that will be matched with a maple/wenge/maple neck and wenge fingerboard....
