Checkover my Recording Setup

Hey guys,
Ive gotten a lot of advice from many people on this forums and im pretty sure on what im going to buy for my recording setup...

First off, ill be recording bass, guitar and vocals. For drums i will use a EZdrummer. Ill be playing all intruments and layering the tracks. I would also like to be able to record my band practice's, nothing major or high quality, just for a "quality" check.

Im not looking to spend a lot but ive came upon a new way of looking at gear and that is only buy stuff once so im going to try to get quality stuff.

Alright here is my proposed setup up,
Instrument > Shure SM57> Presonus Audiobox>computer.

I understand that it is basic but im not looking for starting a home studio just something to start putting my music together. Am I on the right track?

Looks ok to me as long as you don't want to record more than 2 tracks at a time. If you don't plan use the Presonus for recording drums you really can do a lot with 2 inputs.

I'm a believer of starting simple (but with quality) then expanding. I haven't been dissapointed by the Presonus gear I have and I suspect you won't be either. The only thing I think you may want/need to replace is Cubase LE. While it works - I found it to be 'thin' featured, after replacing I realized how limited it really was.

You will need some powered moniters for playback/mixing.
