Cheer up

I've been sweating a quarter-million dollar presentation for a month - have been traveling too much to get all the background info I need, messed it up on the first draft, am making the final presentation in about an hour. It has been a really difficult process to gather the needed info, nobody has been in the office, the really nice guy who had all the info died and I inherited the process, and it has been a continual rush process. We all have bad days; this has been a bad month.

BUT - as usual, my goal is to get through it, get it done, declare victory, go home and have a good craft brew. I'll tip my hat to the gent who passed, and drink it in his honor.

I could use some cheering up & I'm not sure even sure why. Oh wait, I guess I do. As I mentioned, routine gets me down. I think today was my 4th visit to the park & I'm already not not digging it anymore.
Maybe it's time for some video games or reading.

This was one of the first songs I ever played live on bass....great fun song. I was roped in to playing bass with only one weeks notice with a local ukulele group I used to drink with.... i mean play with, when their bass player left. 7 days to learn 7 songs or so and play them on bass while also playing kick and snare on Woodskin cajon...... and I'd only ever plunked around on an ABG a few times before. Not only did I pull it off pretty well but it got me hooked on bass.....big win and big grin.
