Ahh, ok, thanks. It might be the recording that's giving the bass more of a flats-like tone to me.

HAHA, I've been whipping out some Jacksons' basslines on my band lately. It just makes them laugh and shake their heads.... we're a rock (sorta hard/modern I suppose) band. Funny though, they all knew Billie Jean, and started playing/singing along . Those songs are great!!
