Submission Chicago - "Dialogue (Part I & II)"

Still on a Peter Cetera "high" following a previous Chicago transcription. Totally can't get enough of this dude's classy axe-work (and vocals).

And, as many of the YouTube comments note, the song's lyrics are none too shabby either... timeless stuff all round!

Finally got around to sit, listen, & follow your excellent transcription.
I hear some Jamerson devices going on...I am assuming (hoping?) that Cetera improvised much of this. Thoughts, anyone?
Anyway, it's a dynamite track from all involved.
Guercio's production is spot on, too.

Thanks for taking the time on this. Peter was/is so underrated for his playing, especially in the early part of his career. Almost everything on the first 3 (6) albums is brilliant, but some of his best work can be found on 'Someday' 'Listen' 'Sing A Mean Tune, Kid' and 'Liberation'

Check those out if you haven't and thanks again for sharing your work.

Late to the show on this one, but I'm sure glad you transcribed this tune! I stumbled upon the debut Chicago Transit Authority LP at a used record store, and bought it. The jacket was in good condition, as well as the vinyl, and heard Beginnings in it's glory. So stoked by Peter Cetera's bass on that song, that I had to play it along. Then, I had to dig up one of my all time favs, Dialogue pts 1 & 2. I kinda figured it out, but found your transcription made it really work. Thanks Brother!
