Chicago-area Western Swing Band seeks Bassist
Current lineup includes Guitar, Drums, Piano, Clarinet, Fiddle, and Steel Guitar.
We will be primarily playing covers of Jazz and Western Swing tunes from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s.
The goal of the band will be to get a regular weekly paying gig at a bar or dance event. We already have many connections with venues around the Chicago and Milwaukee area, as well as connections with the swing dance scene.
We are looking for a Bass player (upright preferred) with Jazz experience.
