I've been trying to figure this one out for awhile, and while not especially difficult, I'm having a hard time as a bass noob. There's not much out there on the Interwebs about it, and it has been my favorite Chick tune since my fusion band played it in college.

Yeah, believe me I’ve humming it in my sleep for the past 20 years...lol! I have the rhythm and the general gist down. The root notes are easy. I’m having a humdinger of a time though figuring out what fingering and positions to play the “bah-da-dah-duh-boo-buh-do-boop” part after each root walk up. I can find the notes, but my fingers just get all twisted. I’m working against myself and am looking for economy of motion.
