We played an all-day festival at a country pub yesterday.
A few bands had been on before us, then just before we were due on:
I've no idea who these ladies were, no introduction or explanation was forthcoming. They just came on and did this slow, synchronised dance. I thought I'd share out of curiosity more than anything.
Anyway, the rain had started during our set and got increasingly heavy. By the time the headliners - a seven-piece ska/two tone act - came on, it was pi$$ing down.
No problem. This is England, we'll just party in the rain:
This little blondie was cute. You can't tell from the pic but she'd discarded her shoes and was dancing on the muddy grass in bare feet:
A fine day had by all, despite the weather not being on our side.
A few pounds raised for blind people too, as it was all for charity.
