Nothing to see here. When he can receive a brand new score on Wednesday and conduct it on Saturday, I'll be impressed.

Bit of 'cute-factor' rather than 'X-factor' and very interesting that the State Conservatoire of Uzbekistan have a programme to teach some conducting basics to 7 year olds! I imagine its an event to showcase their youth orchestra and be proud of their progressive and innovative music programme?

Theres obviously a lot more to conducting than marking the beat and throwing some shapes but hopefully by the time this little impresario is in his teens he will look back on his career and reflect on how much he has developed since his conducting days as a 7 year old. What a great way to inspire the next generation even if a little cringe worthy to watch as a musician !
