Chord players/Lemmy's Chords

So i've been recently been playing more and more chords, and I just wanna know who else out there plays them, famous-wise, cause i wanna find some other examples.
But also id like some help in trying to find more songs with Lemmy's chords in them, i know they're practically all powerchords but just to get his sound through chords is epic and i wanna do something like him just for gits and shiggles haha, thanks! :help:

I play a lot of chords. In fact the new song we are working on in the band right now consist nearly only of chords (mostly power but some exotic ones too) and fast runs (except the intro).

A good advice is to roll off some bass to prevent it from getting too muddy.

Edit: Oh and by the way I'm not famous, missed out on that part, just thought you wanted to hear who played chords.:D

But Lou Barlow of Dinosaur Jr. uses a lot of chords live too.

If you can pick up guitar, it would help you tremendously with playing chords on bass. I do mostly power chords, but can do pretty much any combination to fit whatever progression.

I don't know of any famous bassists that play chords except for the ones already listed, though

NoiseNinja- I defiantly agree, i tend to play with a full tone most of the time, and sometime with a lot of mid and high end
Stilettoprefer- Well i do have an acoustic, im just trying to find music/musicians that i know who use chords, i know how to play chords on both, just trying to find examples is all
MonkeyBass- Oh hellz yea! Les uses power chords out the ass sometimes, like on heavier songs, especially his cover of Master of Puppets!

Chuck Rainey plays some really nice chords on Peg. Tommy Shannon does some nice chord stuff on Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Red house" which is basically a cover of Jimi Hendrix's version. On at least one of the Hendrix versions ( I can't remember if it was a studio or live version) there is a lot of 5 - 6 - 7 stuff going on behind the guitar solos.

The bass player on Sly and the Family Stone's album "Fresh" plays lots of chords throughout the album.

Billy Sheehan uses quite a few chords in his playing. Here's my favourite:

Stanley Clarke too; School Days goes without saying, but I can never find a decent version of it online.
