Chorus pedal recommendation?

Looking for a chorus that:

• Has a footprint no larger than an EHX Nano
• Doesn't swallow the bottom end
• Can be subtle and swirly like an old Boss CE-2
• Doesn't need its own proprietary power supply

Suggestions are appreciated!

Love my MXR M83 Bass Chorus Deluxe. It's a tad pricey but gives a lot for the $$. Being a Chorus and a flanger in one pedal gives interesting options for sound.

Keeley Seafoam+ is my current favorite. I also own the Tech 21 Bass Boost Chorus and Aguilar Chorusaurus. Just sold
my Bass Clone. All good pedals but the Keeley works the best for me.

Too big to fit on the limited space on my tiny pedalboard. Otherwise I would get one of the new CE-2w pedals. Might anyway...

Had the Gemini, EBS, still have the TC electronic SCF and boss CEB-3. My favorite is the Jam Bass Waterfall. Expensive but worth it.

Larger than the Nano, but the classic TC Electronic SCF Chorus+ Modulation Flanger is the best I've ever heard. Getting harder to find, but well worth it.

I wouldn't get a chorus, but a flanger. Can do more or less the same thing but then it can do other things as well.
My personal favourite is the A/DA PBF Flanger.

This is what I do- I just change the settings on my flanger to get a 'better' chorus sound when needed. I have an old school Boss BF2B modded for true bypass, more lows, etc. Even stock they sound great if you tune to standard E. Highly recommended!

If you really like the Boss chorus sound, I would consider getting a Wazacraft CE-2W. I am running a Providence Bass Chorus. It's a very thick and warm analog chorus. It has a variable HPF for the side. So I can let the lows pass unaffected, while the hi's get a nice lush chorus sound. No loss of low-end, but still retains note definition. For me, that is a really important feature in a bass chorus.

There's a very particular sound I want from a chorus that a flanger just doesn't achieve for me. Besides, I HAVE a fantastic flanger that I think works extremely well on bass: Boss HF-2 Hi-Band Flanger.

I'm considering getting one even though I know it won't fit on my board, yeah. Just keep it for other applications. I found an EHX Bass Clone that was $58 shipped, so we'll see where that leads. Always liked EHX, price was right, etc.

Jam pedal Waterfall is quite nice and shallow water by fairfield circuitry can also do chorus-y stuff whilst being an extremely interesting peda way beyond that sound.

Nothing wrong with a CEB-3 if you like the Boss sound. Boss cases are comparable to the 1590A case EHX uses for their Nano pedals, maybe a touch wider. The CEB-3 can do subtle and swirly, thick and synthy, anything in between, and the low filter (actually an HPF) keeps your fundamental frequencies dry.

I also like the Julia by Walrus Audio; its "D-C-V" control is a wet-dry blend that takes you from clean through to 50-50 chorus, then from there into vibrato, so it's capable of a gamut of sounds. The "Lag" control can get you some really swirly interactions, and the V2 enclosure art is pretty easy on the eyes. No explicit HPF for clean lows, though, and if you're a stereo guy it don't do that either (though full vibrato with a y-splitter in front will get you there if you want it). And, it's $200 new, rather high end for what it is, even when you add in "US-made", "hand-made", "bucket-brigade" and other buzzwords that get your girl's lady-parts going.
