Chorus pedal

OK. I'm still keeping my first assumption that you are looking for a pedal you can use during song choruses, to beef up things.
An octaver would be my first choice, were I in your shoes. But that's just me. Choice of octavers ? Boss OC-2 (highly recommended), OC-3, MXR Bass Octave Deluxe. Search octavers on TB, there's quite a ******** of helpful threads. I use the Digitech Bass Synth Wah on mode 7, that gives me a good enough octaver effect, plus filter, filter/octaver and fuzz.
A pedal providing a chorus effect (Boss CEB-3, Analogman, MXR Stereo Plus, etc... ) would be good, but personaly, I'd go for octaver first.
As for other pedals mentionned, it was a lame attempt at good-natured music humor. Of course, "verse" and "bridge" pedals don't exist. As for "break", it was a wink at a fairly well-known maker of pedals that are rather cheap an easy to break. Ergo "break" pedal. A break is also a place in a song where there's a bit of a change (my best example: "Unchained", by Van Halen).
Sorry for any confusion generated by my first post, but I had rather strong coffee this morning, had a great day coming up with my son and was rather feeling giggly.

Wasn't done on purpose with my 1st post, but it might've had something to do with the direction it took afterwards. I sometimes forget that bassist's humor is pretty left-fieldish (I include myself in this). I tried to be more helpful with my second post.

Some of us are "different", mostly in a fun and sometimes weird way. But we're not dangerous.
Truth is bass in metal or any type of music ought to be foundational opposed to heavily painted with effects, but especially in metal where you may have two or more distorted guitars, sometimes keys, and vocals all over the place. Someone--the bassist-- has to convey the song.

It's all good man... we just like to have fun at your expense.... seriously tho, I think a delay might sound good but without hearing the "Chorus" part of the particular song you have in mind it's kinda hard to say......
Just one chorus pedal??? Dont you repeat the chorus later in the song? Then you would need more chorus pedals. I personally have mine set up like ABBACCABB
Okay, I'll take a stab at it here. Take a look at the MXR M80 which is a fairly versatile pedal giving you a pre-amp and a separate distortion (its also a DI). I use the distortion on mine more as a boost which comes in handy for some of the chorus parts in songs I play or any other time I want some added volume.
