Chorus - when and how?

I have an nice EBS that I use very very sparingly: some high up the neck melodic parts (Kari Job "Pure" and HillSong "Salvation") and some slower lower stuff (Lighthouse "Everything")...all in church. I'd like to use be using it a little more but not too much...

I like having a bit of chorus on most of the time especially for the prog stuff. I find I use it alot on my fretless playing jazz it gives some depth and sustain on the mwaaah.

ok, well technically its 'Detune' from a Boss PS3 - but i've yet to notice any difference between 'detune' and 'chorus'

I'm looking on his pedalboard and I'm not even seeing a chorus pedal anywhere.

In the mix, I can't tell the difference either.

I use chorus for slower songs on a deep and slow setting, when making cello-like volume swells on a shallow depth and fast speed (to mimic bowing), or on a moderate depth and speed after a OD/Dist/Fuzz to fatten up the sound.

just got a ibanez sc10 stereo chorus, after some messing around, it seems to have quite a few different usable sounds, I particularly like how it sounds with a bit of distortion, and I'm pondering whether to use it all the time for a bit of tone thickening. The basic chorus sound is quite lovely as well for quieter watery bits.

I've got the CEB-3. For me it's best when it's subtle. One nice use I get from it is the ability to keep my lows untouched (using the low filter). I can then softly thump through a song without it being heard...but when I break into a slap routine...you can definitely hear it...and it sounds nice!
