Chris #2 of Anti-flag

I've got a few songs on Anti-Flag songs on my iPod but none of the ones that have been mentioned. Just looked them up now and wow. He's a great player.

Bookmarked this thread to come back to it tomorrow and learn some bass lines. Also given me some ideas to re-write some of the bass lines in our band's songs.

If you're talking about punk bassists you can't write off Paul Simonon, though

I saw anti-flag 'bout a month ago- they put on an AWESOME show! So much energy! Chris #2 has got to be one of my all time favourite bassists- probably along with Mike Dirnt Does anyone out there know what he uses?

Freeman is an amazing bass player, but IMO he has nothing on Chris #2. Chris' bass lines are faster for the most part AND he sings and is into showmanship. No offense to Freeman, but its more entertaining to watch someone who really gets into it.

I know he uses a geddy lee bass. Sadly, thats all I know atm

I'm glad #2 has a section on Talk Bass. He was one of my favorite bass players growing up! I still think Anti-Flag is awesome.

Bumping again. Just saw Anti-flag, stood right in front of Chris the entire set. I can't believe how he can jump around and sing while playing some of those bass lines, unreal.
