chris dave is a master of metric modulation. not really into this song, but he's a great player and innovator of the drums. that metric modulation poopie is all the rage with the jazz cats now. trying to play 3 on the hat while 4 with the rest of the kit is cool and all, but after a while i just want some james brown fatback drums.

I understand. That video was the first I heard of this style. It's pretty heavy stuff.
