I remember seeing MMW at a club in St. Louis back in 1996. I peeked in the door during the sound check, and dude was on acoustic going through some cab with an 18”
speaker. The bass was so powerful, I thought it was going to crack my sternum!

I remember hitting a string of shows in NC, SC and GA about twenty-five years ago. I remember that the sign for a set break was Chris Wood tapping his nostril. Him and John Medeski ducked behind Medeski's bank of keyboards during Billy Martin's drum solo, and they both came out very refreshed. I really loved these guys in my youth; still do. I don't know if they ever go out with Scofield anymore, but if you ever get the chance to see that, absolutely do.
