So my band (Christian Prog/Alt Rock) is going to do a Christmas concert on Dec. 18th. Anbody got tips for a few good rock-it-up-able Christmas songs?

We've got:

Little Drummer Boy (We're going to make our own version! Can you say; ridiculous drum solos? )

You can easily vamp the Wings song for 10 minutes and get lots of crowd participation as well. A cover band that I play in does a Christmas show every year and we love playing that song.

Winter Wonderland - Stryper

You beat me to it! My band covered their version of this years ago. The guitar players did a harmonized guitar solo on this. Great Christmas song to rock out on.

My singer said rocking in a winter wonderland instead of walking. I have an old vhs tape of us doing this. I have to dig it up now that I'm thinking of it.

EDIT- Just listened to the original for the first time in years, the solo in the studio was harmonized. Oops. But Michael said walking instead of rocking, so that was going for us. Not too many know of the cover of this song by Stryper, it was on the b-side of a cassette single as far as I can remember.
