I haven’t, but I do have a stewmac cigar box 3-string guitar kit sitting on my shelf waiting for a snowy weekend.
I haven’t gotten into it yet, but Im toying with the idea of adding a fourth string to make a piccolo bass.

I built the Red Barn 4-string Tupelo Tenor kit and have two of the G-Bass kits in-process (both will be fretless). The 4-string has a lipstick pickup and sounds pretty good acoustic or amplified, fun to mess around with. Really need to get down to the shop to bandsaw the tops for corner inlets so I can get these finished....

TL;DR Assembly - "Tiny Franklin" assembly is an unfretted, 30" scale, 2-string, "Cigar Box" kit.
Other - Matching 4-string Tenor, Uke, and 2X4 Lap Steel.

Long story... I heard about the "Krappy 2-string fretless" on TB last Fall, and told my SO/GF - she wanted to get one for my Christmas present. Excellent! Then she called, and they weren't taking anymore orders.... Two (2) months ago, Amazon suggested Shane Speal's "Poor Man's Guitars", and I found out that I could build my own 2-string fretless.
