Naw J, you probably could show me up. Not flashy and fancy here. Just learned slap last year. (so might pick some brains on technique there)

I started when I was 16, and might not have a lot of fancy licks, but I love locking in with the drummer and just grooving. :) Old school, play by ear, listen for the changes and just drive that bus! :D

Oh, believe me, Im as unflashy as they come! I really dont slap, I NEVER tap, etc. I do miss slapping though.. Im just not very good at it, not good enough to feel confident.

But yes, Im much more a bassist than a flashy show! I mean... I play a P bass! :D
 
Before I vote, I have a question (because I would love to attend)

How do these GTGs generally work out? About what time do people begin coalescing at begin jamming, etc?

For me the 13th, 14th and 21st are all free and clear, but my gun club is doing stuff on the 20th and 27th which usually lasts until 2 or 3 in the afternoon.
