Cioks DC4 as a standalone unit power supply

I use the Eventide PowerMini, I thinks it’s the same or similar.
I had to specify I wanted the standalone not the expansion, so it came with a brick thing...

What's the brick thing like? Ideally I'm looking for something that has minimal cable length and doesn't take up power strip real estate

As far as I know, it’s actually called the Cioks C4e (extension, without power supply) and C4a (with power supply). I was put off initially by having an outboard power converter, but the C4a version, with mounting clip, is pretty small and neat, AND has way more power and options on tap than the DC5.

You can get any of them pretty cheap at Prymaxe right now. I kept waiting to see if they would get the C4a version in stock, but might go ahead and order the C4e to get a start on wiring up my Metro 20.

there's a cioks 4 that comes with an AC adapter.

CIOKS CIOKS 4 4-output Isolated Guitar Pedal Power Supply with AC Adapter

I'm planning on getting one to power a board I plan to build comprised of Singular Sound goodies.

The AC adapter like a small laptop charger basically. Shoudn't block more than the one socket of your power strip it needs.

I'm also about to replace my Ciokolate on my main with a DC7 I think as it will allow for a higher current out of two combined isolated jacks for something like the HX Stomp XL

I replaced my ciokolate w a DC7 and Cioks8. Power on my board is so clean now.

Really want to snag a 4.

The Trutone 1 spot CS6 was recommended to me. I have recently downsized my pedalboard and the Trutone was a great addition. Extremely noise free (Digital) and adaptable with all currents. Also capable with 9v, 12v and 18 volt pedals. I use a flatter board and it is thin enough to attach it to the bottom of the board. They supply a drill card. Put the card and drill through the holds (for the included screws) and you can attach it bracket free.
