I can hardly pull mine off my Nano with 3M Heavy Velcro. Why the need for added weight, cost and bulk?

One caveat to mounting the DC7/4 underneath the PT Nano, it is a tight squeeze, as in tighter than a nun's chuff. You really need to jam it there, and you'll need a sturdy screwdriver/mini crowbar to get it out. On the plus side you don't need the mounting screws for the Grip

You mean the grip mount? It weighs nothing, literally adds no bulk, costs like $15, and is more secure.
right...but we are talking about vs velcro which actually...

and is plenty secure...at least as secure as all the pedals you put on top of the board
Not knocking the grip if that's your thing, but the point is that velcro is a pretty viable option, especially if you like to move things around a bunch and possibly get more use out of your power supply than having it bolted to a board.
Oh yeah velcro is fine, I was just pointing out that the 'issues' put out there for the grip are not really issues. In fact, velcro will add more bulk because it makes the entire PS protrude out from the bottom of the board and does not sit flush (see post #21).
And if you have your allen wrench handy, it will likely take you less time to remove the grip'd PS from your board and put it on another board than it would the velcro'd PS. Seems some folks here have never actually used the grip

I always chuckle at the boards w $1500 of pedals and the cheapest power supply that money can buy.
Money is a funny thing...the way people spend it never makes sense. It's what is important to you. I play Carl Thompson basses but I drive a Hyundai (awesome car but not know to be a luxury vehicle).
I am a Velcro advocate not for fiscal reasons but for practicality since I have a few different boards and am always changing things up including power supplies. As someone who has pedals beyond what is on my main board, I also love being able to detach the power supply and set it on the table or floor with any random mix of pedals and synths for some sonic exploration.

My Dingwall cost more than any POS used car I ever owned. Now, I don't even own a car.
Cioks DC7 and Powermini are both mounted with dual lock. I swap between a Novo18 and Metro16 depending on the need and it works great. Don't over do it with the dual lock or it can be a real bear to take it off.

Will the DC7 I have already fit under the Nano with the Grip?
Does the power cord impede the Nano from sitting flush on the floor?
How does the grip mount on the front of the Nano? Do you have to drill holes or what?

Yes, but it is an extremely tight fit. You'll have to force it.
That depends where you place it. IIRC, I had just enough leeway on both sides that it wasn't an issue.
There are two little hex screws that push against the board, but as stated, the DC7 with the Grip will stay in place just fine even without the screws
Yes it will work fine, look at the first post in this thread.
You do not drill holes, the grip attaches to the DC7, then it has 2 set screws that clamp it to the Nano. You can take it off/put it on in about 10 seconds (not including the time it takes to attach it to the DC7 which of course you only have to do once).
The power supply cord does not get in the way, but I use a pigtail for ease of access, like this:

Huh, you could be right about that. I just checked, and at least my DC4 has to be jammed in there
Update: The DC7 fits perfectly under the Nano with the GRIP.
Now I have another question! Will it work the same with a Nano Plus? For some inexplicable reason the Nano and Nano Max are 5.5" top to bottom but the Nano Plus is 5" only. I am hoping the space underneath is still the same width.
