As soon as I get the string height set right on my B string so I can give it a good workout without it hitting the frets, I'll let you know how it sounds. So far, it sounds really good. Very cool that you can use the same "pluck pressure" (that's the best way I can put it) to get the same volume from any string.

That's the same thing I found as well. The Circle K's really made the B string usable as a regular string, instead of a thumb rest.

The strings sound great. I set things up and I'm enjoying them so far. They are very tonally balanced. Not too "zingy" but not too thuddy either.

Really amazes me at how sensitive they are. I'm going to have to really play with some economy of motion. The least little brush of the string makes sound. I can play with a very light relaxed touch.

Just an update for the Fender V players...the .142 fits fine through the high mass bridges on the newer Fenders. I picked up a set of the .142 balanced strings to try. I had been using the .136 set. I like the slightly higher tension for my bass. Although I am not sure if the larger B string is all that important. I will wait to see how they break in to decide which I prefer but the "Traditional" .136 set is the same as the .142 balanced except for the B string.
