I would guess this is a good deal, but I'm not for sure... Is it or not? I have no idea who this is I just saw it on the chicago cl.

Don't know about the price/value but I think its a pretty cool rig there hrgiger, I hadn't heard of this model before. Seems to have a 60 watt/2 x 6550 (KT-88) power section. I'd think the head would work for bass simalar to the 200S.
Here's some 200s threads/info: http://www.google.com/custom?domain...;S:http://www.talkbass.com;LP:1;FORID:1&hl=en

I used to have an old 70's (all-tube) Fender PA-135 head that worked prety good for bass and guitar. Mine made a prety cool sounding handy/small PA head for vocals too...

I just did some very brief research: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4DMUS_enUS221US222&q=Sunn+PA+head
but that Sunn might be kinda cool to have both the gain and master volumes.

I beleve the Sunn 2x15 cabs are preferable for bass. I'm pretty sure you could get that cabs D-130 reconed to become a D-140 model that would be more suitable for bass duty.

Price seems kinda high but it might be worth it. If edbass: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/member.php?u=49166 doesn't catch your thread and post, shoot-em a PM. He knows Sunn gear.
