Interesting times at Sadowsky; it seems they have divested some IP, signed on several production partners, and broadened their line. I've heard nothing but good about all of the resulting products given their price points, so it appears to have been a positive move. Hopefully Roger was able to monetize his brand a little and put himself into a good situation for the coming years.

I could use a little summary on how the various products are positioned and related - especially the relationship between the German Metroline and the Japanese Metro instruments, if the Japanese venture even still exists.

As for the NYC instruments - as beautiful as ever but eye-watering prices now. Here's an available Will Lee 4-string for $7500. Yowza.

One of my favorite builders; just thought I'd start a discussion about their instruments and interesting business model changes.
