Double Bass Clarus w/ 2 M-Lines?

I have a question. Would a Series III Clarus have the juice to push 2 EA M-Line Wizzy cabs? Is 400 watts in 4 ohms enough?

2 M Line Wizzys would yield a 2 ohm load. The Clarus III is 500 watts @ 2 ohms. Plenty!

My Walter Woods M-300, which is rated at 450 watts into 4 ohms, and a single Wizzy E easily produces enough sound to comfortably play with a loud drummer and band. The Wizzy is one of the most efficient cabs on the market, and doesn't need a lot of power to get quite loud. Two Wizzys and a Clarus III with 500 watts @ 2 ohms would be capable getting astonishingly loud. I've never felt like I needed more than one Wizzy, but everyone's requirements are different.

I used to use a series I Clarus with an M-line Wizzy and while the sound was excellent, I couldn't crank the thing too loud. So use your best judgment. Of course, with two Wizzy speakers, you should be absolutely fine. Plus, I believe the new Clarus amps have a good deal more power than the first ones.
