I use a short flat bungee cord which also doubles to keep my gear attached to a gear dolly for load in/out. Of course, this only works if your cab handles are on the sides. But it works great!

That has indeed happened to me in the past. Now I use an Auralex GRAMMA Isolation Platform, but not on the floor. I put it on top of my F212 and my Mesa WD800 on the platform. It doesn't budge.

I have a handle at the top rear of my cab, I've got one of those re-usable cable ties and cable tie the speaker output lead to the handle. Even works for the heaviest of rock.

barefaced cabs are known to do this. The frame is super stiff and vibrations happen all the time.
I bought a high density rubber pad that is used for washing machines. My local home depot did not carry any, so I ordered one off amazon for about ten bucks. I chose the size so I would get two pieces out of it. One can go under the cabs, the other one can go on top. I cut a hole in the top one, which is the exact size of the handle, so I can use my barefaced cabs in either orientation because the feet of my tonehammer are too short otherwise.

Had the wandering problem with a Fender Rumble 500, caught it trying to knock over a beer which I thought was totally and utterly unacceptable behaviour from an amp. It's hard enough protecting a beer from singers.
Solved the problem by replacing it with a Super Bassman. An amp that respects beverages is essential IMO.
