I use a hand towel, folded under the amp.
OMG...You must be English....I grew up with Blue Tak holding all my posters up....Until I later discovered over time it leaves an oil mark on the wall !!!blobs of blu-tak

Please share why? and from which amp to which amp now?If it's tolex a couple of blobs of blu-tak have worked for me. Have reverted to heavy old amps nowadays.
Truck load of Likes....I love my Rat Fur!!!Rat fur cabs for the win. I run an MB500 which is ridiculously light and it doesn’t move, as the cab is rat fur.
I can easily see how that could happen with a tolex cabinet.
…. causing the amp to decide to go on walkabout.

Interesting. My WD800 has never moved on top of my Subway 1x15.
There have been some good suggestions above![]()
Bar mat from Amazon. Perfect View attachment 4003867
Now that looks perfectly aligned. I really do have neatness issuesA different day but the same mat. It sits perfectly on the top of my Subway 212. View attachment 4003987
Double benefit: you always know where your towel is.![]()

My rat fur ate my mouse pad.I used a rubber mouse pad on top of the cabinet works great![]()

Steve, are you still using your pad? Just curious.Likewise. I usually run a stacked pair of the 1-15 cabs with the WD800 on top--and gotten pretty loud sometimes. The amp's not skated around even then.
Maybe I missed it in the discussion above. Is the cabinet tilted back at all? I could understand the amp moving in that condition!
