Class-D Amplifier Case (CASEMATIX)

So I was looking for a bag or case for my GK Legacy 800. GK doesn't make one for it yet, and I also have a Darkglass Microtubes 900, the case for that is about $149 .

Started looking around for other options and came across this company CASEMATIX. Found one on Amazon for about $59 (now on sale for $46.99) and thought what the heck.

Pretty cool case, and easy to pop out the foam to size it perfectly to your amp.
Just thought I'd share with everyone here.

Looks nice. Reminds me of a handgun case. Are you using the same case for both amps (are the amps the same size) or did you get two cases at that price?

I sized it for the smaller amp (DG Microtubes) and then I compress the edges a bit to fit the GK in. I'll probably just grab a second one since they're only $46 now and fit it to the GK.

Forgot to mention, underneath the bigger chunk of foam (what the amp sits on) is another solid piece of foam. The amp is completely surrounded.

Thanks much. The last time I needed a hard case for one of my DIY builds I went with Pelican. That's pretty much the gold standard, but it's also massive overkill for what amounts to a glorified dust cover most of the time in my usage.

I got mine from Harbor Freight as Pelican knockoffs...20% off this month too! About same price but pelican style.

That's a great idea! Super easy, and it looks pretty solid. Practical, and cheap.
I should do this.

Least of all because it's way more useful than my current hair-brained plan to build
a large (think Kustom K-250) tuck & roll bass head cabinet, with a Kustom-esque front
panel, and inside it install a class D amp, moving the pots and jacks and switches to the
front or back panel. Lighter and much more powerful than a K-250, and purple, because, yeah!
