Class D hybrid head into interface?

Like the title asks, is it possible to safely run from my head, Hartke LX8500, into my interface, Motu M4? (Or possible at all?) I'll attach a couple images of the equipment in question. Thanks in advance

Just run an XLR cable from the direct out to the interface and set it to post...done. I'd suggest you keep the amp's master volume at 0 unless you plan to connect a speaker to the amp while recording.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I was assuming that's all I would need to do but I don't have any experience recording this way (or much recording experience at all lol) and thought asking here first would be safe

I'm assuming you want to record using the Hartke preamp. Otherwise, you can just plug your bass into the M4. I have the M2 and that's what I do.

Yeah, exactly. I currently just record guitar and bass straight into the interface but if I can get tone I know I like without farting around too much with amp sims in the DAW, that's what I'd prefer. Living room studio in apartment complex so mic'd cabs aren't really an option

yeah what he says, i've done the same with my Markbass LMII, perfect: it's the gain button that will do the job.

You’ll be able to capture the sound of the head but quite often the appeal of an amp sim will be the impulse response capturing the speaker cabinet, microphone, and room. You can run the heads XLR out(or FX send) into an IR equipped pedal of some sort or run an IR loader in your DAW to capture that effect.

Just to add onto what was said about the DI out, DO NOT go from the Speaker Out to the interface. You probably won’t have a working interface anymore.
