Classic Bass brands to bring back

Ahh, the Lafayette Radio Electronics catalog. Back in the golden age of American Electronics. I spent hours with these , Radio Shack, Allied, etc.

OK. My memory hath mis-served me. It was the guitar I was jonesing for. I was just a mixed up kid, what can I say:

If Ibanez could make an affordable Musician ($600 - $999 range), I'd be all over it (and so would many others).

Same with Peavey making an updated T-40 (same body style, hold the weight).

These are two great 80's models that you CAN still find used, usually at decent prices (especially Peaveys), but could do with some modern tweaking and refinement and I loves me the brand-new-bass smell!

Old bass/guitar company back to life?------Sure---how about Matsumoko back in full force! Then pretty much any of the next named basses would be primo 100% and stand up to any other bass:

Washburn
Aria
Westone
Greco
Univox
ETC.!
Never seen a bad Matsumoko yet.
I am a fan---yup!

Great idea! Would cost a lot to get MAtsumoku quality now though.

Daion, by the way, are Yamaki made, not Mats. Very very nice though!
