Squier Classic Vibe P Bass in Sonic Blue (£269.00)
or
Squier Classic Vibe P Bass in Fiesta Red (£273.56)

IMO the sonic blue is much classier but again that is my opinion.

Should be ordering it within the next couple of days.

I personally think the modern Squiers are quite a bit nicer than the MIK's. Many of those were plywood from the early 90's.

The CV and VM's are pretty decent for the cash IMO. Id say it comes down to weather or not you like gloss finished or satin finished necks if you have to pick between the two.

I find the CV neck to be much nicer, if not a bit on the smallish side for a P bass, but pretty nice overall. Can't stand satin finished necks myself, so I'm in the CV camp.

The CV p-bass in Sonic Blue would be my choice. I plan on getting one in the coming weeks. I also saw a VM j-bass '77 reissue (black body, maple neck/fret board, w/ pearl inlay) on the Squire site. I plan on getting that as well.

If you haven't bought already, I highly recommend the fiesta red. I love mine, the tort PG looks great.
