Classiest Basses....

I tend to like...

Many, but not all, Jazz type basses.
Ricks (esp fireglo and white with black pickguard and binding).
Many transparent dye finishes with nice grain or tastefully figured tops.
SR4s, but not too keen on SR5s lookswise.
Most of Rob Green's Status basses - except mine. Plays like a dream, looks pretty dull.
Good looking hardware - this includes chrome, black AND gold. I know gold hasn't been too fashionable of late round here, but some recent threads indicate it could be making a resurgence.

A lot of boutique basses, even the "tame" ones, look like whores. Sometimes I like that look and all, but still. :D
