Is it possible to select multiple filters so that I can see, for example, all basses that or For Sale / For Trade / For Sale/Trade - basically all available instruments instead of needing to select each individually. Also, the ability to filter and find only the available items. So, I could search for "Kubicki" and get only basses that are available instead of instruments that have long since been sold.

I've found using the "newer than" feature in the search helps weed out stuff that was sold years ago.

Yes, all those features are available from the advanced search page: Search Threads and Posts | TalkBass.com To select multiple prefixes (FS, FT, FS/FT) just shift-click each one (command-click on mac) or on mobile just tap each one.

What about a filter for # of strings and price? Is that something I'm not seeing? I'm talking about the filters at the top for browsing all threads, not using search

I've been wanting that forever because I'm only interested in 5 strings under $1k when looking, and not searching for anything specific as far as brand or model. Just wanting to go to basses for sale, select 5 strings filter and pricing filter

I'm sorry, not an option to put # of strings or price into the filters at the top (we'd have to re-do the classifieds system first). You can use the advanced search page to accomplish half your goal: just leave the search field blank and select 5-string basses, for sale. Price filters can't be done with our current software architecture :(
