Cleaning a Glazed Fretboard

Hi, all. Been a while and I do hope everyone is well.
I am wondering what everyone's thoughts are on cleaning a glazed neck, in particular, that of a Geddy. I usually give my strings, neck and fretboard a quick wipe down after every session, but just wondered what the general consensus was on a deeper cleaning for the glazed fretboard.

Never seen a "glazed" fretboard. Can't visualize how it could occur. Enlighten us...

Sorry, it is not necessarily "glazed". It is just the standard glossy maple fretboard that comes with the Geddy. I was wondering if anyone knew of a special way to clean it without damaging the gloss finish of the board. Would there be any solutions that would be a no-no..ex., lemon oil. Also wondering if any have tried out the Meguire's brand of cleaning kits.

Damp cloth. Eventually the finish will wear off in spots and you'll get some discoloration no matter what you do. I would not use oil of any kind, because (1) it's not necessary (and can't contact the wood through the finish), (2) it tends to darken wood if it does reach it and (3) any residue left behind attracts dirt.

Thanks, Pilgrim. I've been using the damp cloth just to be safe. I imagine I will continue with this.
