Cleaning Wenge

I just restrung my MTD fretless five yesterday and it sounds like a new thing.

When I stripped it down to clean the fingerboard though, I wasn't completely sure what to do. I've always used Pledge on fingerboards because it seems to keep them clean, moist and smooth but I'm not sure whether that's the best thing to do.

Also the fretless has a wenge 'board, which has a more open grain.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Johann

I've only cleaned my wenge board once, after getting from it's previous owner. I scraped off whatever buildup there was with the edge of a credit card, there wasn't alot. Then followed it up with a little orange oil (10% d-limonene, 90% mineral oil) on a rag.
