Double Bass Clip on tuner ?

Does anyone use a clip on tuner live? They just seem so... uncool.
I wouldn't say she looks uncool...

I picked one off Amazon, picking one that was middle of the road in price. I picked one for around $9. (within my price range - they ran between $4 and $20)
Not knowing muck about them I picked one right in the middle. :) I guess I was wrong ... I should have gone with something in the higher end ... I picked the Donner DT-2.

I was never able to tune in the "E" string and the "A" string took a very long time to set. After dealing with it for over a week I just gave up ... I headed out to the local shop and took my Bass in with me. The guy there was very helpful and even tried my tuner on two different guitars.

Well, I wasn't doing anything wrong I had a bad machine. The thing wouldn't work on any thick string.

In a review, I would never advise anyone to get the DT-2..

I ended up buying a $13 dollar Snark unit ..The new SN-5 tuner is easy to use and works great ,,,

Anyone elce use clip on tuners and what model do you guys like ?
shopping
I just-sold my Brand New TC Unitune-noir. I had a Snark SN-8 ( 2015 Model ) and it Honestly tuned my Bass better, in terms of Pitch stability on the E & A Strings.
