I have often wondered what my other Ball bass would have been with a maple fretboard and Big Singles (instead of wenge and NJ4SE pickups), so just add a B-string which I'm using more of these days, and there you go:

Nad you are not ordering a big McNealy? It makes sense that a one piece body should sound better but some of the bodies that have all the pieces and layers so they have a lot of glue in them still sound wonderful. As I understand it the Nordstram pickups are sort of pricey. Saw some on ebay from Hong Kong for $4.95 that said they were great. You should look into it.
Cliff has a long enough waiting list that I'm simply waiting for my number to come up. For him, I'm more than willing to wait my turn. 
I have asked Cliff about two hundred annoying questions but never when my machine would be built. Ordered right before Christmas.
Next batch of orders coming up. I'll be in the batch after that.
Any opinions on the TI Jazz Flats low B string in 34" scale vs. 35" scale? I know Cliff's necks are solid. I have zero experience with the TI strings.

Does anyone on here have a headless CB? I heard from Cliff that there are a few in existence, and I'm looking for any photos of them that I can find, especially the headpiece. Thanks!
My next one WILL be headless. I just need help deciding on scale length and work on finalizing my specs.
