Started my build thread if anyone wants to follow along:
My 32" mini beast has gotten so much play time since I got it. It is just so comfortable to play.
Really glad I went with 32" scale and for a 6 string again. The sting-through body definitely helped with the flat string options too.

I LOVE this bass.
Quick tip, if you want flats, or variations, La Bella seems to do medium scale versions of anything any everything, in bulk sales to individuals, and in much smaller quantities when a dealer puts in an order.
I play 31.5" basses, mainly 6ers and I'm currently loving the La Bella Black Tapes I got.

They're super balanced across all the strings volume and tone wise, the low B works really well. I'm keen to try the other nylon tapes, I think there copper and white gold, which apparently have brighter mid range, but my 6er is all black, so the tapes look incredible on it

I have half my bass strung with different sets of La Bella's.
On the 6 string I just posted E-C are Ti flats, but the Ti flats brand 6 string is a BEAST at .136.
I hated it, so I strung just B string with a La Bella Low B and somehow it worked out great.

Oh cool, well if you like the feel of TI Flats, you'll like the tapes! The low B is a 135, but it doesn't feel that thick. I usually use a 125 in nickels and I don't really feel much of a difference.
I've always played my 32" SCB sitting down in classical position. To the point where I unscrewed the strap pin so it was more comfortable against my right thigh. Well I put that pin back in and played standing up with it for the first time and realized...hangs a little further to the right than a FSO and the way it hangs makes the upper registers a little tricky to fly around - which is probably why I play it sitting down? Makes frets 1-5 dead easy though.
Anyways still the perfect bass for me when I'm sitting, which is what I like to do. Was just interesting to note, it might not be perfect for everything.

I play mine seated with a performaxe, both my 30" and 34" are awesome like that. They both play fine on a strap, but nothing is easier than getting that perfect seated position.
I've seen a fair number of classical guitar players using something like that, but I've never seen on made for electric before...
It's pretty great imo. You can get a cheap knockoff on eBay for 80% less, but I think the original is worth the extra money. Way more solid. No flex. I have both and use both.
