If you're ever on the east coast of South Florida, let me know. I'm about a two hour drive north of Miami or two hours southeast of Orlando. Come to Port St. Lucie for Mets spring training. That's pretty much where I am. You can try my 32" scale and, in April, my fretless 32" CB.

I just e-mailed Cliff today about the shipping date. I was pleasantly surprised to hear back that the expected shipping date is 3/25/13!!! That's about three weeks earlier than I had expected! Woooo hooooo!
I'm not sure what it is now for new orders, but mine was about 14 months for my first CB. I can't recall when I ordered this new one coming in next week.

I'm sure you don't want my critique but ... when playing unison with your sax/trom players you are playing ahead of them! I know because I do exactly this. I've always played ahead of the beat. It's very frustrating.
Great sound and band - I'm jealous.

What would be good, would be a universal piece of music that we can all play on bass. That way we can hear the sound differences better. It would need sustain, runs, spread of notes and dynamics plus I suppose a bit of slap (if we must!).
