Sweet! I live in Edmonton, and I just ordered a black Toby Deluxe IV. I received a bass as a Christmas present. I had to return it, and decided on the Toby because it has a nice weight and I like the neck.

I have a few basses in my collection (listed in my profile) but I'm not playing with anyone at the moment. I tried jamming with people for awhile via local CL postings but nothing really materialized or clicked, so I sort of gave up at the time. I'm still playing my instruments at home for my own enjoyment.

Musically-speaking, if I'm not playing with others, does that mean I'm playing with myself? (MODs, if this self-directed joke is too racy, pls advise & I'll delete it.)

I am part Canadian. My grandfather came to the U.S from Quebec. I spent much of my life playing ice hockey at the pro-am level and competing in tournaments in Canada and the U.S. Canada is one of my favorite countries and I still make it a point to get to Toronto and Montreal every year to watch hockey games. Can I be an honorary member?

That F-Bass is gonna be awesome. It is my intention within 2013 to place an F Bass order for a BN6, in a Trans Blue NPF finish. It'll take some saving, but I'm gonna try my best to make it happen this year.
