Ladies & Gentlemen!

Here she is, #287

I had to sell my clement #96 almost two years ago, but I had the chance to buy it back this week. It's one of the best basses I've ever played. I'm very glad to have it back, and hopefully it will never leave again! :)

Got #202 back from the shop recently. Had it set up and pickups rewired (they were backwards, causing serious hum when poles were touched as well as grounding issues). All in all, I'm really happy with it. Ironically, when I asked the tech what he thought of it, he said it was solid and he liked everything but the neck. Everything BUT THE NECK?? I love the neck. To each his own, I guess.

I look forward to playing it every month or so at church and in 15 to 20 minute chunks as time allows in a household with 2 kids under 4yrs old.

Thanks, Tom!

Nice.
BTW, I lived in North Olmsted for 31 years. Went to NOHS.

Grats! That's at least two Clement players in Ohio, then.

Anyone else?

One thing I noticed while using my thumb to pluck #202: there are contours on the G-string side neck joint where my Index, Middle and Ring fingers naturally rest. Haven't read where anyone posted this before. It's super comfy and another nice touch (along with the jack being slid over under the control knobs to allow for resting the bass on the ground without fear of snapping it off).

Little things mean a lot.

I'm here-just nothing new to report! No extra $$ for a new build and my rock band hasnt rehearsed lately for me to even get any action shots of #94 from there.
Plus the country band I'm supposed to be in hasnt started up yet either.
