Seriously though, those bags have the nicest padding job I've ever used. I would order a bass just for the gig bag alone. I did notice the zipper going across the bottom of the bag (new design?), which is a fatal design flaw in my experience, unfortunately

The zippers on the bottom sit above the instrument edge so that the body or the strap button doesn't continually smash agaist the zipper.
There are 4 rubber bumpers as well as a heavy webbing on the bottom edge.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it is a fretless BN6, or more properly, a BNF6.
I've seen older AC6s that don't have the "pin striping" (sorry, I can't think of the proper term for it right now), so that isn't really an indicator of which bass is which, but The AC6 has 1 magnetic pickup usually, and because its piezo pickup in the bridge needs controls, the knob layout on the bass is different as well.
I've been fighting back a desire to have a BNF6 to accompany my AC6, just so I can have a solid body cousin for what I have now.
Also, with this fretted AC6 in my hands now, I'm really starting to want a second magnetic pickup on my fretless AC6 again. Sigh.

Regardless, it's still one of the most amazing basses I've ever seen. It's actually the one that I'm basing my design for my first bass on.

Yeah that BNF6 is one of my dream basses. I want a fretless and I'm pretty sure that's the one for me. Just the way it is in this picture.

I teetered back and forth between getting a BNF and an AC, they are both exceptional, and quite different I thought. In the end I got the AC and couldn't be happier, but the BNF was pretty outstanding. A little punchier and quicker than the AC, but doesn't quite have that 3D acoustic-ish tonality I love about the AC.
Some day I'll visit George up there, hopefully I'll either have a full pocket when I go, or else I'll leave all forms of payment in the states so as not to be too tempted

The ACs have been so consistant too....
As good as the BNF is as a solid body fretless the Caron is on another level IMO.

This one in particular just looks beautiful to me. I love the fact that it doesn't have the pore filler - looks like a high-end piece of furniture! Maybe that would help me to convince the wife on why I need ANOTHER Fbass.
