Club Fbass (thread 13)

Hi fellow F bassers! Here is a new tune that I used my BN6 on. It's called 'The Beardless Man' and features guitarist Andrew Synowiec. I hope you dig it and will inspire you to work on your bass chords!

Here are links to listen to the tune: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Absolutely beautiful! Loved everything about this, right down to the natural BN6. They don't make them like that anymore.

Merry Christmas to FBass lovers everywhere! Keep the low end tight:bassist:

Generally in the winter and spring I'll have to adjust the trussrod, due to humidity changes.
If you changed string gauges you might need to then, but I always stick with the FBass strings because I love them.

Hmmm lately it’s been closer to once a week, but I have a very low action (1.5mm at 12th) and almost dead neck (0.2-0.3 relief).
Just wondering if that’s the setup that is too demanding or the 1 piece neck not being as stable as 3 pieces?

I think it's likely humidity and temperature changes is more likely the culprit. If you are setting the action very low, you will notice those slight changes more than me, who has low action, but maybe not that low.
