Club Sadowsky!!!

Great performance Vic. I really like your singer too.
Thanks!

Man I gotta' say I hope more people post clips and/or vids. This is the most fun I've had in this thread for a while. Amazing how great these basses work in a mix, and it's also further evidence the Metros are every bit worthy of the Sadowsky name and all it implies about what a bass can do. The proof really is in the pudding, and I'd like some more helpings, please. :)

I dont have soundcloud but, it does look cool. I might have to get an account there.
But, I am on everyother place. Here is my Purevolume site: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I have a couple tracks up on there. One is from this summer. "Right The 1st Time"
I played all the instruments and vocals on this one. Recorded in my livingroom on
my Korg D1600 Digital Recorder. Sadowsky Standard 4, with a Line6 POD XT with
the Bass Pak installed. First time I used the Line6 for bass. Not my fav, but ok.
The other track is "BASSically Speaking" I recorded that like 3 years ago. I used a
Sadowsky Standard 5 thru a Radial ToneBone BassBone into my Korg Recorder.
Played all the instruments on that too. Check it out!! :D

This isnt a Pro video. It was done by a fan. There are a million things we dont like about it ( Bad vocals, It was one of the guitar players B-Day and I think we drank way over the limit for drinking and playing. Which is not normal for us we try to be Professional. ) but when someone does this as a gift you have to post it and share it. We are gonna spend the cash and get a real Promo video done later on this Fall. But you can hear the Sadowsky on it.

Thanks!

BTW, here's that same bass at a recent live gig. The audio on this vid is super crappy, but you can still hear how 4098's B string is just so powerful. MAN I love that bass! Plus it features Emma. That girl can SING!

ITB Lady Marmelade

P.S. If anyone watching is wondering, I keep messing with my head because there were a buncha' bugs out there that night. We were kinda' close to some trees. Oh well. :)

Great video Vic. That singer sounds amazing!

Hey guys and gals, setup question here...getting really close to dialing in a perfect low setup on my PJ5...however I'm getting buzzing from fret 10 to 17 on only the E and A strings (it's the most "clankiest" on frets 14 to 16...it's clean as can be from frets 18 to 21 and frets 1 to 9. I'm not playing hard, I know low action requires a delicate touch. The B, D and G strings are fine all over.

I'm guessing it's either:
A) the strings aren't following the fingerboard radius - the A and E seem pretty high compared to the other outside strings both visually and by feel.
B) The trussrod's got the neck too tight - wouldn't the buzzing carry over to the others considering how low they are to the board? the B and G saddles are just about to touch the bridge plate, to say how low they are....no buzz (ok a SLIGHT buzz on fret 14 and 15 if I REALLY DIG IN on the B but the G is clean)
C) the frets in that area under those strings are a smidge too high? :hiding: I'm probably wrong there but if anyone else knows why let me know...
