Of course I do! Thx! Printed a bunch of pix today and going to decorate that empty wall soon. Gotta get it up before I leave for the long weekend and a business trip next week. Won't be back in the office until Friday next week!

Here's some more of that Sadowsky sound. These are some recordings of a previous band of mine.

All the recordings were done live in the studio, straight into a DI with my Metro UV70 5-string, the #M3505. Used four-month old dead Sadowsky blue stainless strings.

The track with the most prominent Sadowsky sound is the first one called "Loverman" featuring both slap and fingerstyle.

;) enjoy

Loverman - Funky, w/ fun slap bass intro :bassist: Using both pickups, VTC rolled off a little bit while boosting the bass and treble about half way.

Just for the Money - Reggea style, real laid back triplet-fun :D Favouring the bridge pickup with VTC rolled off a considerable amount.

Poverty - Rock-feel

Not Only Passion - Country style

NICE WORK!!

Dude, you should log into the Sadowsky forum and post these in the same thread as mine... it's just a "what does a Sadowsky sound like" thread and needs more posts. I think I like Loverman best too, though they're all great tracks. I like how you went from blended funky to favoring the bridge fingerstyle and back, etc. Very smooth.

I'm Diggin' this soundcloud thing BIG time. C'mon folks, MORE! :)

I figured I may as well post some tracks from our most recent release, Chasing Shiny Objects. My bass tracks are 100% Sadowsky!

A little something for everyone... Enjoy!
I DID! :)

Got a picture of the bass(es) used?

Seriously guys, we gotta' get these great new tracks up on the Sadowsky forum!

A bit late on the train but Vic I have to say those tracks are really great and to me what was really nice was that the whole band sounded great and tight!
Thanks!

BTW, here's that same bass at a recent live gig. The audio on this vid is super crappy, but you can still hear how 4098's B string is just so powerful. MAN I love that bass! Plus it features Emma. That girl can SING!

ITB Lady Marmelade

P.S. If anyone watching is wondering, I keep messing with my head because there were a buncha' bugs out there that night. We were kinda' close to some trees. Oh well. :)
