All the recordings were done live in the studio, straight into a DI with my Metro UV70 5-string, the #M3505. Used four-month old dead Sadowsky blue stainless strings.

Loverman - Funky, w/ fun slap bass intro
Using both pickups, VTC rolled off a little bit while boosting the bass and treble about half way.
Just for the Money - Reggea style, real laid back triplet-fun
Favouring the bridge pickup with VTC rolled off a considerable amount.
Poverty - Rock-feel
Not Only Passion - Country style

Dude, you should log into the Sadowsky forum and post these in the same thread as mine... it's just a "what does a Sadowsky sound like" thread and needs more posts. I think I like Loverman best too, though they're all great tracks. I like how you went from blended funky to favoring the bridge fingerstyle and back, etc. Very smooth.

BTW, here's that same bass at a recent live gig. The audio on this vid is super crappy, but you can still hear how 4098's B string is just so powerful. MAN I love that bass! Plus it features Emma. That girl can SING!
